This is an exciting, fascinating tourist attraction that is both fun and thought provoking for all the family. It has fast become one of the north of England's most visited places, showing a wide range of abstract art including pieces by famous artists Barbara Hepworth and Henry Moore, both born in Wakefield and both worked in bronze, wood and stone sculpture.
There are over 20 works on display, nine of them by Henry Moore who together with his friend Barbara Hepworth was hugely influential on British modern art of the 20th-century. Other works by this gifted pair are on display in the Wakefield Art Gallery.
Visitors to the park will find a restaurant and usual facilities.
